This year I am going to IKEA.
I am decorating our home a lot this year, finally after being here for 3 years. IKEA has wonderful stuff and even more wonderful prices. I will post some pics and details of our decorating adventures later on this year.
Winter Storm 2009 Update
The winter storm we had this past week knocked out our power for 20 hours. No heat, no TV, no hot water, no hot food, no nothing, but bitter cold. We survived the night under our down comforter. Thank god for warm down comforters. I hardly got any sleep. >yawn Let alone a shower today. Maybe tonight a warm bath will be good. I didn’t realize how much I would miss a warm meal and hot drink. Losing power any other time of year is fine but NOT in the cold cold of winter. Brrrrrr. Stay warm and safe my friends. Snuggle with loved ones also really helps.
